San Gabriels on fire.
1st picture… pretty much all this has or will be burned up.
2nd picture… a good idea of what the terrain and fuel for the fire looks like. I believe this area is just about a mile east of what is currently burning.

He was loud! When I passed that tree, it sounded like a large “something” moved and then this hiss that scared the loving shit out of me! Then that rattle sound I’d never heard up close. Knock that off the list of things to experience!

A hawk or eagle, not sure, tearing apart a squirrel or cat or dog, not sure, and being attacked by a jaybird, pretty sure, in Pasadena. Who needs to hike into the back country to see nature?!

Conductors and splices project. The teacher liked the layout. My splices and hooks were “really good work”! I had to do a two-wire pigtail in front of him and connect it to the hot coming off of a receptacle. Nothing live, of course. He liked my work and I answered his questions correctly. I’m having a blast at school!
